Thanks for this. Any idea what might happen to trigger the date shown to change? As I say, for this car, when I looked it up in May 2021, it showed a first registered date of 1948, and now it shows 1981. Anyway, not sure that will help me find out any more - hoping the owner might end up here at som...

Thank you - yes, have seen a few bits that suggest it might still be around! It was UK based on the 50s, which is when it know it was in my family.
