Re: RSR Member Survey 2012

I also have tried in vain to find the on - line survey using the address shown on P15 , It directed me to numerous survey sites as well as the rsr but I have not yet found the survey.

A C Petrol Pumps

Hi Guys, Please can anyone tell where to obtain repair kits for A C petrol pumps? Are the parts required the same for both T type and N type or are there different repair kits? Will either type fit our Rovers , in my case a 1938 Rover 12Hp which has a T type fitted at present. Thanks Trevor

Re: P2, P3 Engine numbers

Hi Tony , Well thank you very much! This earth shattering information means that my 12s engine is actually an older 10 engine! All of 107cc smaller and RAC rated 1.1 hp less which also means that max bhp at 44 is FOUR less than a 12. :) In reality it appears to be in good fettle and s...

P2, P3 Engine numbers

Happy Christmas to All Rover owners, :D Well anyway! here's a little query for Chistmas! Is there a system for the engine serial numbers , in particular, in my case for the Rover 12 Saloon? Re: steering box on a 1937 16

Hi Guys, Sorry I've not posted anything sooner. Basically, there is nothing to report at the momemt, I've found that driving can be a real pleasure once it is accepted that this is 1938 motoring! I think the MOT next year will be the testing (pun intended!) time and may lead to a professional rebuil...

Downdraught SU carburetter 12Hp

Hello Everybody, I have a 1938 12 hp saloon with a downdraught SU carburetter which has not got a damper in the piston in the dashpot, is this correct? Does anyone know where further info on these carburetters can be found please?
Cheers Trevor

Re: steering box on a 1937 16

Hi 47p2, Thanks for your reply, I think that the writing is on the wall, I need to obtain a Workshop manual, and for the time being try getting used to pre-war motoring!
