Good Morning All,

I'm fitting a Rover 60 head c/w exhaust to a 80" Land-Rover and am wondering if anybody has an old scrap exhaust they could cut the (manifold) end off as I'll need to modify a normal Land-Rover front exhaust section to fit.

Rod, It's part no. 09071. Somebody else has told me its 1.75" x 16TPI which makes it either:- 1. American ANFF 2. American SAE Extra Fine 3. ISO 16UN As far as I can determine I just wondered if anybody had a definitive answer as I thought somebody must have tried to recover the thread at some time?...

Here's a technical question. What is the thread in the sump to take the oil filter? I believe it is 1 3/4" x 16TPI and is an 'old' Copper Tube Thread form?

I know it's a long shot but does anybody on this forum know where I can get hold of an exhaust manifold as fitted to the 2.6ltr on a Series 2B Forward Control???

Good Evening All, I'm looking to getting my engine completely re-conditioned in the near future. The engine currently fitted is a the one in the vehicle when I bought it and has been previously re-conditioned but I suspect the vehicle did a lot of standing running as the engine is in poor condition....
