A few reasons really.
I no longer need anymore parts, I have enough for the next few decades.
I'm no longer buying cars I don't like.
I've also been busy sorting my yard out to get a garage built.

Here's a pic of every 800 I've owned so far. October 2008 . This is where it began back in October 2000. Long story short I was after a 416 and the insurance was cheaper on a MK1 820 and cheaper still on a MK2 820. I spent a fortune on it then gave it my mum after buying the next one. 92 820 Si Auto...

I've only got 4 at the minute but I've owned nearly 50 over the last few years.

My brother used to a have an early MK3 Metro GTa. He loved it for all the reasons you've said Paul.
He went after a GTi version but we couldn't find one that wasn't very badly rusted. They are cheap but you need to be careful I think.
