The fitting is longer where it screws into the block as it extends down and locates the cam bearing.

You shouldn't be able to lock the door that has a key in the handle from the inside. I suspect the wrong door lock mechanism has been fitted.

I always buy Auto out of preference. P3 with freewheel is a half way house! Might have sold the Range Rover, run out of space! The 1999 75 is lovely to drive, I enjoy using it and I am considering ditching the modern Volvo and running it as an everyday car. P3 will be coming home next month, watch t...
