Re: Age of owners
The reasons for the failure of the British owned motor industry are many and complex. Foreign owners seem to be managing it quite well. Jeremy Clarkson explained the decline of the British car industry in a short documentary some while ago. Don't know how accurate his conclusions are, but the film ...

Hi Laurie, our daughter (she was 6 then) christened my 1954 90 'Ben' immediately when she first saw him (sic). I thought this was a very appropriate name for a stately motor car of 60 years like the Rover so Ben it was ever since. We have been in touch via the P4 facebook site before. Congratulation...

Re: New member Christina Bodén
A really wonderful car Chistina. What are you planning to do to it? If it was mine I'd try to sort out the mechanical bits first to make her roadwothy and reliable and worry about looks later. Your Rover looks like it has lots, if not almost all, original fittings. If that is so, that's a very rare ...

Re: Over heating P2
Luli, very interesting technique, to dissolve limestone with vinegar in the engine block's water jacket. Works with steam smoothing irons or water boilers, too :) The theory behind it is to convert CaCO3 (chalk/limestone) into water-soluble calcium and carbon dioxide (CO2) using some kind of acid. H...

Rover Pre-Wilks roadster?
I found this photograph on http://www.oily-rag.net. To the left of the Alfa Romeo, the green ragtop roadster, appears to be a pre-Wilks Rover. Do you happen to know it? What model/year is it?

1934 Rover 14 sports saloon restoration project
I saw this project Rover 14 sports on an eBay auction about a year ago. Now I found a "New Member" thread about it on here: http://www.rover-forum.thersr.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1752 Does anybody know what became of it? http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae149/Skuzzle/IMG_20130810_143818_zpsee1570...
