Brake fluid reservoir

Folks, this is a two-part question. I have a 1951 P4 75. I have a parts book only for a 1954/1955 P4 (ie third edition). For the brake fluid reservoir, the part book shows the following components: - SUPPLY TANK ASSEMBLY (ie reservoir) part 233206 - Filler cap for supply tank part 260819 - Gasket fo...

Re: Intermittant Cut Out!

I just read the text below on the Distributor Doctor website, on the page relating to rotor arms. Seems to describe your symptoms " Rotor arm problem Distributor Doctor can now offer a high quality alternative to the commonly available reproduction rotor arms which have been routinely failing and le...

P4 bits and pieces wanted

Wanted:
Lamp switch (ie the one with LAMPS on the knob)
The black bakelite bit that screws onto the shepherd's crook handbrake
The plastic covers for the two interior lights.

The first is urgent; I can live without the other two.
If anyone can point me in a suitable source, I'd be grateful

Re: Rover P3 '48/49

I don't know what it would cost to ship a car from Oz to UK, but there's a nice P3 at http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/melbourne-cbd/cars-vans-utes/1949-rover-p3-/1091322377. Needs a carb rebuild because the owner tried to fettle it and buggered it up, but it's a nice looking, no-rust six-light (AUD$1...

Re: New Member August 2015

Gents Just to finish this off. I looked at the Melbourne Cyclops and didn't like it. I picked up the 105S " Sydney s**tbox " on the grounds that it may be nasty, but it's cheap and has a new pink slip (and now has a new battery), so I should be able to actually drive it round in between sorting out ...

New Member August 2015

Located in Sydney (Oz) Retired last Xmas and after seven months hard labour in the garden addressing 27 years of neglect I think I can justify treating myself to a P4 Been to look at a 110S for AUD4K asking price, which was disappointing. Didn't look too bad, in the photos but which was quite nasty ...
