Furflex type trim
I am searching for the pin/staple on trim beading that surrounds the door openings on the P3. So far the samples I have received from the usual suppliers look too bright and the material too modern. Does anyone know if the woven textured look trim bead is available, which looks superior ?

Protective wing covers
Some years ago I had a pair of padded fabric wing covers that draped over the front wings to protect them, whilst leaning over the car to work on the engine. These had magnets sown into the lining to hold them in place and they worked reasonably well. I have seen similar for sale on line and wonder ...

P3 Dashboard
I am putting back the wooden dashboard and centre instrument panel after working on the interior and notice that the majority of the P3s have a black centre panel. Mine is grey/silver and does not appear to have been overpainted at any time. I see Mike Couldry has black covering transfers for sale f...

Re: Freewheel control
Really helpful response thank you. Photos showing the breakdown of the cable and components tells me all. Have enjoyed reading/viewing your major restoration. Many thanks.

Freewheel control
I am about to restore and polish the wooden dash of my P3 and the only remaining item to disconnect before removal is the freewheel control. I am puzzled as to how the control knob is dismantled and the cable is passed through the dash, and haven’t found any clues from the w/m manual. Any help from ...

P3 rear spring shackle adjustment
I am trying to level up the rear suspension after new springs fitted and the car has a 1” list. I have read the w/s manual item on doing this by slackening off the shackle bolts and winding in or out the threaded adjustment bolt. This makes no measurable difference to the height measured from a leve...

Re: P3 spring shackle nuts
Many thanks that’s a great help. Namric can supply these with, (as you point out), the modern equivalent with a nylon insert. No doubt the originals will surface at some point but I need to move on with the reassembly so faced with buying new.
Thanks again and my own thoughts confirmed re BSF.

P3 spring shackle nuts
Having lost during the nuts to the shackle bolts during strip down I need to identify the thread before sourcing a new set. The parts manual refers to the bolts as 9/16 inch but does not state what the thread type is. Can anyone help with this info please ?
