Re: Rover Carburation
Tony Thanks for your reply, and I apologise for not responding sooner. The plate between carburettor and manifold was in fact a Mangoletsi manifold (www.mangoletsimanifolds.com/history--In the ‘50s the experience gained from working with gas carburation led to the design and patenting of the GM Mani...

Rover 10 1934 Shock Absorbers
My Rover 10 1934 lacks a nearside rear Shockabsorber
This should be a Luvax 2 hole, Vane Type B, in parallel with chassis.
Does anyone have one available?
I have in its place and incorrectly, a Luvax type P5, free to a good home once I can replace it with the above

Rover Carburation
Dear All I found on my 1934 Rover 10, between the carburettor and the inlet manifold, a spacer ( insulating spacer) of 1/4" thickness which also carried a machined but damaged diameter reduction venturi, reducing the diameter from 1.25" to 23m ( 0.905") at that point. The reduction diameter is stamp...

Rover 10 1934
Thanks to all who replied to my search for engine block
Now the current search is for a 1934 inlet manifold ( it is very similar to 1935, but without inlet for Luvax Bijur suction).
thanks
Lance Davis

Need an engine block
I am in need of an engine block for a 1934 Rover 10 ( or better a complete engine)
The block I have has a large hole, presumably from a conrod projectile!
Thanks
Lance Davis

Rover 10 Battery
Dear All Todays project was to get the 34 Sports Saloon running. The battery has been mounted in the engine compartment in the panelled boxes, as distinct from under the rear seat in the saloon. Can anyone tell which is correct? Anyway, removed the battery ( Lincon 291/11), and inner housing cracked...

My 1934 Rover 10 saloon has blue interior, and the body , wheels black are black. Wings are always black for this model.
There was a blue option for wheels and or body, does any one know which blue Rover used, and the appropriate Pantone number?
