Re: Newly signed in

Hi David, Welcome. Just wondered if a P1 1937 10 Saloon be of interest? I am toying with the idea of another project and will need space which means 'Jenny' would unfortunately have to move on. If she did go it would be nice if she stayed relatively local as she was registered in Coventry and hasn't...

Re: Rover 10 1937 Brakes

Hi Tony, Thanks for this. 'Jenny' is due an MOT but can't see this being done anytime soon so will have time to get this done. The shoes have worn unevenly but I believe that this is down to not having any play in the carrier. Thanks for the point on the material as I would not have thought of that....

Rover 10 1937 Brakes

Hi, Would anyone be able to advise as to where I can get brake shoes relined or where I can get replacement from? Also, whilst these are off I may need to replace drivers side oil seal , is this a home DIY job if I can find someone with a press?? I believe there are two seals on each so would it be ...

Oil pressure gauge- 1937 10hp

Hi

Looks like I might need a Jaeger oil press gauge for a 1937 10.
Any ideas where I could obtain one from would be greatly appreciated.

Vehicle valuation for insurance

Hi
Would any one be able to give guidance on where vehicle valuations can be done in the Midlands that could value our little old Rover 10?
It was valued many years ago but now needs updating as we are out and about in her (Jenny) quite a bit
Any help would be appreciated
Cheers

Re: Possible regulator Issues

Hi

Thanks for your response.
All cleaned up and reset the contact gap. All working fine.
Do you think the issue would have damaged the coil at all??
Your help is appreciated.

Possible regulator Issues

Hi Would any one be able to advise on a minor electrical Issue? My 1937 Rover 10 (Jenny) appears I think, to be suffering from a regulator issue in so much as it now takes around 40seconds or so for the ignition light to go out. On starting from cold (normally a week or but starts on the button) the...

Peter,
I was at the end of the row with CRW 639. Black Rover 10. What a great day, where were you parked?
Spoke with loads of friendly helpful people.
Hats off to the event organisers.
