Rover Sport Register
Down in the Antipodes spending some wet weather time perusing forum bloggs etc brought to mind a question I’ve been pondering for some time and that is the name of our club. “Rover Sport Register” I’m certain one of two of you learned members will explain the reason or how the name came about. Thank...

Re: Rubber Gear Box Cover
Thanks Mike. I’ll give Mike Coudrey a try. He’s putting a parcel together for me now. If no good I’ll try the Araldite effect. Prefer to keep to rubber if at all possible.

Re: Oil Pressure Hose
Thanks Luli. I gave up the idea of a copper pipe for the exact reasons you mentioned. I’ve had a new hose fitting made by a professional hose doctor. Cost a lot at $260 but worth it. Now the clean up and new carpets.
Mike.

Oil Pressure Hose
Some advice please from you learned Rover people. My 1947 (16) P2 has suffered a cracked oil pressure hose at the guage end you can imagine the catastrophe of engine oil everywhere before engine shut down. I am currently removing the old “Flexi type hose from the engine and I notice after removal of...

Rear Window Curtain P2 16 (1947)
Not an essential item, but I have had the rear window curtain stuck away in a box of spares I’ve recently “unearthed” and purely for the fact I have it and the “puller” already in situ above the drivers side front door I’m trying to work out how it fits and strung. The spring roller works etc. I hav...

Re: P2 1947 16. Speedometer
Tony G. If you’re still on topic, I was traveling yesterday to a special Vintage car club display gathering when I noticed the trip and accumulative mileage meters still working only the speed indicator not working. Looks like an instrument repair needed. I’ve had a look at removal, it is certainly ...
