Re: Stone of Destiny

I know it's my car because I was half way home when they called me to ask if I would go back for more filming and this was the scene. I ended being bitten by a cleg (horsefly) and had a very sore elbow for months :(

Stone of Destiny

Some of you already know that my P2 was used for some film work last year in the making of the Stone of Destiny starring Robert Carlyle, Charlie Cox and Billy Boyd. After waiting for over 1 year the Stone of Destiny movie is due out tomorrow. Here is a small clip which at the very last second my P2 ...

Two Vintage Rovers that got away

I received an email earlier this year regarding not one but two Vintage Rovers in Canada. The story goes like so..... Hello, I have been asked to help a cousin to help with a dilemma he has. Re: Is this car still around?

The P2 looks like a prewar model with the wire wheels and the single horn and pass lamp to the one side, only the 20hp had the central pass lamp. Post war Sport Saloons had the central pass lamp and twin horns.

You never know it might be tucked up in a barn somewhere

Is this car still around?

I received an email form Irene regarding a car her father owned. Hello John Please forgive my intrusion. I have found a photo of a Rover (16?) which belonged to my dad in the 1960s and I wondered if there was any way I could find out where she is now. Thanks Best wishes Irene If anyone knows the whe...
