Re: Rover 825 KV6 Waterpumps
Just a postcript to the water pump saga. I have now had the cambelts, tensioners and idlers replaced on all of the belts and fitted a new Rover 75 water pump in place of the original. It took a bit of engineering, as one bolt hole does not line up at all and has to be blocked off, and two others ver...

Re: Rover 825 KV6 Waterpumps
Well, be warned Rover 825 KV6 owners, new water pumps are no longer available, and there are no plans to remanufacture them. I have been in touch with Rimmers, X-Part and countless other people who claim to have pumps "that will fit with some adjustment" and at least 4 businesses have said the only ...

Rover 825 KV6 Waterpumps
I seem to remember that waterpumps for the Rover 825 KV6 engines were getting very hard to find, in an article published in Freewheel, some time ago.
Does anyone remember how the problem was resolved as I need to find one to complete a cambelt change in my 1997 825si?
regards

1947 Rover 12 Handbook
Hi, I am looking for a drivers Handbook suitable for a 1947 Rover 12 (P2). I suspect that Rover produced a handbook that probably covered more than one model, but do not know which models were covered by each publication. Any advise as to which to look for, and any suggestions were I might find one,...

Re: lost radio codes
Hi, If you are confident it is the original radio, then there is a website where you can log on, and pay a fee and they will give you the radio code. They will need either the radio serial number which is actually printed on the radio, or the make. model and chassis number (VIN Number) of the car. U...

P2 and P3 gearboxes
Can anyone advise whether it is possible to fit a P3 gearbox satisfactorily to a 1947 Rover 12 engine? The New Zealand Rover Club I belong to, has just inherited a very original 1947 Rover 12. The engine is really sweet and the gearbox is good except that although we can select 4th gear, there is no...

Re: Jubilee Rally 30th June 2013
I, too, would like to add my congratulations to the organisers of the Jubilee Rally this year. Jane and I planned our visit to the UK so that we could include the occasion and neither had anything but praise for the whole event. Great cars, great weather, very nice venue and the Kings Court Hotel pr...

Re: Remote locking fobs
In case anyone is reading this again after so many years(!) I eventually discovered it is vital to have a matching pair, remote transmitter and the receiver unit fitted by the interior mirror. I was able to get a matched pair from a specialist in the UK, which took me all of a aminute to fit, and I ...

P6B Tyres
As most owners will know getting new tyres for the P6B is getting increasingly difficult as 185R14 tyres are only made by a few concerns and most are very old technology. Here in New Zealand we have even less choice than the UK. If we want Vredenstein or another "classic" tyre then the costs are tru...

Re: 1940 Rover 20 Tickford Drophead on ebay
What a fascinating amount of information. As I suspected both Richard and Geoff Kent had a hand in this cars history - I wonder what they might say about the car in its present condition. Mind I seem to remember Richard was not averse to trying a little modification in his time. Didn't he fit a 3 li...
