1940 Rover 20 Tickford Drophead on ebay

I dont know whether anyone else has noticed this, but if you want to see a drop-dead gorgeous Tickford coupe for sale, go to ebay.com and feed in list number 181075029938. Apart from the fact that it has had $350,000 spent on restoration, it has some RSR "names" that immediatly caught my attention. ...

P5B AED Manual modification

Can anyone suggest where I could get a manual fitting that converts the AED fitted to later P5Bs? I remember seeing one of these on a car at a show some years ago, and the owner told me that it worked well and was really straightforward to fit. It screwed to the top of the AED, and basically turned ...

Overdrive rear oil seal

Has anyone got any advise on renewing the oil seal at the rear of the overdrive unit. The official workshop manual rather skates over the subject. Are there likely to be any particular problems.

Re: Remote locking fobs

Thanks Paul.
It appears to be a very complicated subject, and I am reluctant to spend vast sums of money on a new remote unless I am, at least a little, confident it will work.
I am grateful you went to the trouble of checking through the library for me.
best wishes

Remote locking fobs

Can any member who owns a Rover 827, circa 1993-95, who has a working remote locking fob please help me with the part and type numbers that are embossed on the back. I have recently bought a 1995 Rover 827 (resplendent in Nightfire Red) that was originally exported to Japan and then imported into Ne...

Re: NEC show 2011

Great photos - wish I could have gone to the Show. We dont have anything in the same league out here in New Zealand, or even close. (mind you, the weather is usually a lot nicer in November, out here!)
Good luck

Re: Wiring diagram

Thanks Paul, very comprehensive. I should be able to find a P4 horn relay without any difficulty in our Club stores.
Much appreciated.

Wiring diagram

Can anyone help with a wiring diagram, freehand from an knowledgeable person would be quite sufficient, to enable me to fit a relay to the fog lamp circuit on my 1974 P6B? I have connected the two Square Eight lamps with the correct grade wire to the centre lighting switch on the dashboard, and it a...
