The nominal dimensions of P3 tires are 17X5.5. That means that the tire width is 5.5 inches and the wheel diameter is (17 +5.5X2)= 28 inches. A 16 inches wheel with the same width (16X5.5) would have 27 inches diameter. For the correct diameter a wider tire is required: 16X6.0 - which is a very comm...

Unfortunately, the workshop manual gives only the springs dimensions out of the car, not in situ . However, you need to remember that the Rover p2 suspension is under-slang, and a rear bonnet slightly lower than the front one is as it should be.

Just remove the two screws, turn the switch to the right direction, and replace the screws.
