Forgot to add I appear to have it assembled ,but I`m not sure how it fits onto the car.Once I know this I can take the chrome off,to paint it.The rechrome has come out beautifully Len

Hello ,I took loads of photos before I started the restoration,but I cannot find the ones of the rear luggage rack .Firstly does the bracket shown,have the thread at the bottom and recess on the top ,or the other way round I have all the chrome parts and they have been rechromed,so look good.However...

Does anyone know ,how to remove the fog/pass light switch on the dash Ive managed to pull the dash forward enough to see the pass light switch and measure with a meter,but its faulty I cant see how to remove the switch Normally,there are two slots on the front chrome ring to turn and remove but not ...

Managed to get to the rear of the dash,to check the pass/ fog light switch as the light isnt working.The switch is faulty and does anyone know how its removed I cant see that it unscrews from the front,as there arnt the usual grooves in the chrome to unscrew it Len

Possibly both springs broke over the years and that would allow the bearing to jump out,and fall into the bottom of the box along with bits of spring.If that is what happened ,Did the gear stay in at one time,or have you only recently had the car

Ive fitted a new bulb in the pass light .The original one looked perfect ,but my meter wasnt working.It wasnt until I found another meter,and the bulb was O/C .However it still doesnt work,so I`ll have to get to the back of the dash and see if the switch is wired up to the pass light.If not I can ru...

Hello on many cars ,there is a small ball bearing and a spring the bearing drops into the shaft recess and holds it into place by the spring pressure Len

Almost finished the electrics ,for some reason the rear indicators didnt work I checked the wiringright up to the engine bay ,but it went behind the dash which I can`t get to so reconnected both left and right wires and all OK .The next thing is to try and find out why the Pass(fog) light doesn`t wo...

Hello I have the original trafficators on my car and someone has fitted modern flashing indicators.These are operated by different switches.I ve been told that one switch can be used ,to operate both together,ha any one a circuit diagram to show how this is done Len
