By limp home mode do you mean it won't accelerate or go faster then a certain speed?
As the car seams fine it behaves just like it used too.

I asked my friends father who is a mechanic or was should i say. He said the best thing would be to unplug the battery and then after 10mins put it back in and try and start it, and it worked! the engine started first time.
