A lot of work Paul, more than I would care to take on. Great inspiration for other Rover fans to get out into their garage and start that project.......

I love the sales brochure illustration, I find it amusing how they always managed to make cars look larger than they really were. I have a few P2 adverts and looking at them, one would think they were about the size of Rolls Royce

The advertising authorities wouldn't allow these pictures today.

Neville Faulkener (RIP) resoter teh Blue Train 2-litre - he lived near me in Bedford.

The fabric / wood body was probably cheaper than steel pressings - and probably eastier to restore than steel after 80 years.
It's just I guess the techniques are not so familiar.

Stil l- the only other option for a motorised tent is pobably a VW camper...

What a great job you have done so far! I am looking forward to seeing more pictures. I am mentioned in a previous post as I am the new caretaker for Ray Arnatt's Rovers a 29 and 33. I did receive these car with many spares if you require something let me know and if I have it it is yours. I will post some pictures when I figure out how.

and welcome to the forum, the forum has only been up for just over a month and it is really nice to see so many people enjoying it.

I am glad that Ray Arnatt's Rovers have found a good home, my restoration continues, the body work is now finished and I awaiting the engine and gearbox to return from the repair shop. Thanks for the offer of parts, I think I have most items but you never know until you start to put it all back together. I do need the rear luggage rack that attaches to the chassis and carries the rear lights, just in case you have a spare !!

I would appreciate some interior pictures of the 2L if possible as I have no idea of what it should look like. The sales brochure mentions a luggage net and a rear blind and I would be particulualry interested to see what they are. I am presuming the the rear blind is similar to the P2 range but larger. I would need to know where the 'controls' were etc. All this is however a little way ahead as my first priority is to get it mobile and on the road, such things as an interior can come later.

I will be taking pictures of the 29 this weekend and I will take as many detailed pictures as necessary to get you all the details. I may have a rear luggage rack and if I do I will try and bring it with me when I come over to the NEC.

I may have luggage rack but so far no luck. However I did get allot of photos for you of the interior. I also think I caould make a rack if I can't find one from looking at one on my 29.
