Just came across this old posting after searching for CPA 777.
I owned this Rover 14 from 1968 to 1978 & spent many a memorable hour replacing a broken half shaft etc.
I sold it in Bristol on leaving the UK for the US and always wondered where it ended up.
Glad it served you well.
I still have a letter from Rover in 1968 advising me to contact the Rover Sports Register (by writing to the Registrar).
Really happy that it survived the transition from old car to collectible vintage! I Wonder where/if it is now???
