Rover 10/25 1930 Carburettor

Post by giapetto » Mon Sep 05, 2016 6:41 pm

My recently acquired 1930 10/25 has the correct Amal 26 HHR carburettor, and though functioning it needs some new bits. A Google search revealed no hits at all for this model of carb; Amal made mostly motorbike carbs. Burlen, who seem to have manufacturng rights, don't list it on their web site. Has anyone any information on possible sources of spares or service?

Try contacting "The Carburettor Exchange" in Leighton Buzzard. They offer a renovationon / rebuild service on many types of carbs , even if they don't have specific parts for your Amal they will undoubtedly be able to inprove what you have.

Google them for contact details...
