Getting there slowly ,very slowly The body is finished in the black base coat, but I`m not happy with the bonnet,so more rubbing down and filling.I use Finesage fine surface filler, which is the best, super to apply and sand. However it is only for very fine blemishes Lower half ready to spray maroon base coat on.Len

After a lot of filling and sanding,I did the correct thing ans stripped the bonnet halves.I have now skimmed them in filler to get the dents etc out and they are staring to look the part.

I have found the "TENT" I made worth its weight .I can now spray with the dust kept to a minimum and the over spray doesn`t go over everything else in the garage.I just have to pick dry days to spray. The bonnet halves have taken more time to get right, than the rest of the bodywork,There were so many donts and imperfections in it Ive spent over 25 hours on them so far.I have been using a fine surface filler called Finesage after the dents were filed with 2 pack and its the best .It comes in a tube is easy to apply and sand down,it can also be sprayed over if it is only small area Len
