Re: 1934 Rover 12 exhaust gasket
Thanks for all the answers .I was quite careful when I stripped the car down for restoration, and checking all the shelves in my garage ,I found the box with the gasket in .So thanks again.Iv`e just finished fitting the steering box and column after they have been rebuilt.I surprised how little room there is between the top of the drop arm where id=t connects to the box and the exhaust pipe.Len
Re: 1934 Rover 12 exhaust gasket
Forgot to add,my next job is to check the brakes, but I was having some difficulty removing the wheel nuts I think they were tightened by a Gorilla, since they are rod brakes I know they have to be set right,so a sit sown with the workshop manual .Someone in the past has fitted a band of asbestos round the drum.possibly in the hope it adds cooling Has anyone any useful tips on setting the brakes up ,I didn`t have chance to drive the car as I bought it blind on the last lockdown, but I said previously the garage were 100% honest in their description of it
