1931 Rover Repair Manual for download!

More than 15 years ago I was given a repair manual covering all 1931 Rover models from 10/25 to Meteor. There are 253 pages 8" wide by 5" high plus 2 wiring diagrams in a loose-leaf binder. It was obviously intended for the service department of Rover agents. I made some photocopies at the time, and there should be one in the RSR library, but now, thanks to modern digital electrickery I have scanned it and compiled it to a single file.

It is a 17MB djvu file. I attempted a pdf as well, but with the available free software it is very laborious, the results are not very satisfactory, and personally I find the WinDjView viewer very much easier to work with than a pdf in Acrobat. You will need to install the viewer if you don't have it (get the stand-alone program, not the browser plug-in). You can download it from http://windjview.sourceforge.net/ and there is also a Mac viewer.

09/07/10: Have made minor alterations (added a picture of the actual manual and moved addendum to end of document) and uploaded to a different location. SJS.

Thank you for making this available. I don't have a suitable car at the moment, but you never know what will turn up in the future, so have downloaded the manual and added it to my collection of information.

FWIW, I have a copy of Tony Holder's, RSR-produced 1970's "P2 Workshop Manual" and a wodge of pre-War Rover Service Sheets. I could scan and send odd bits as email attachments, should anyone need any.

I have scanned my two 10/25 handbooks (1928 & 1929) onto a CD. If anyone can put them on line I can send the CD to them - I'm afraid my computer skills don't stretch to doing that!
