Interior bits and chassis lube
Hello all,
I'm starting to try and accumulate some missing parts so that I can put the interior of my 1936 10hp back as it should be and wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction.
I'm looking for the luggage net and its fixings and the rear blind and its fixings and pulleys. Also if anyone has or knows of some good pictures of the interior with specific reference to the headlining, they would be very useful as mine has been replaced but is not 'fitted' like the original and is a very basic stretch and attach job! Really spoils what is a very classy interior in the Rovers.
The luvax system is entirely missing and I intend on reinstating it. I've picked up a complete system that seems very good and just needs new flexible pipes and a check of the diaphragm etc. However I have no idea of the exact routing of the pipework/mountings. To this end I was wondering whether anyone could scan and send me a copy of Chris Dancy's article in issue 353? Apparently it's the one to go for! If anybody can help on that one just pm me and I can let you have an email address.
Thanks everyone and sorry if this a lot of requests in one post!

HI,
With regard to the article by Chris Dancy, I now have a copy courtesy of the club. I would still love to get hold of a diagram/photos of the layout of the pipe work.
Many thanks

Re: Interior bits and chassis lube
I am back in the UK in the middle of October. Email me if you have any specific problems. I had a copy of the parcel net made by my local macrame group. Also just completed the interior retrim on our 10hp '38 Coupe, not quite the same as the saloon . I do have ' Denzel ' 1935 10hp with complete interior as original as the standard for ' Snowdrop ' in my garage.
Can forward photographs if anything specific.
The hooks ( Repros ) are available from Paul Beck Vintage Supplies

The car had been modified in the fifties, and after some hesitations we decided to leave it the way it is. The full story is here: http://wp.me/pXLKy-if. The 1946 car retains its Girling mechanical brakes.jefflee wrote:hydraulic brakes ?, cheers Jeff.
Re: Interior bits and chassis lube
Hi Huli, looks like a good job, I had a 35-14hp once with original hyd. brakes, my recent unseen mod is a 1940s 10hp narrow track rear axle with 4.3 p4 diff into my
1936 14 ss which I use nearly every day, it makes the car much more usable for modern faster roads, now when the clock reads 50 I have to remember im doing 55.
After 800miles its great, I have less revs overall than before & better fuel consumption. the next move may be one of Mike Evens excellent overdrive units.
PS. I have also done this mod. with my 20hp - p4 3.9 diff. but keep these mods a secret. ha ha cheers Jeff.

Just a note. Your speedometer can be recalibrated by Speedograph Richfield, they just need the details of your upgrade /modification.
