Door hinges

Is door hinge wear/alignment taken up by adjusting the hinge pins?
I have a low mileage 10hp with new hinge pins and not much wear where it might be expected but two of the doors are 'wobbly' when closed.
Thank you.
Mark (1947 10hp)

Hi Mark, The play in the door hinges is caused by worn "acorns" which are small acorn shaped items between the top and bottom hinges.
There are various shaped acorns, some are curved top & bottom and some are curved at one end and tapered at the other end.
Normally the pin (bolt) does not wear. You can get replacement ones from Paul Beck / Vintage Car Parts

You may need to "fettle" them to fit correctly.
