Not an essential item, but I have had the rear window curtain stuck away in a box of spares I’ve recently “unearthed” and purely for the fact I have it and the “puller” already in situ above the drivers side front door I’m trying to work out how it fits and strung. The spring roller works etc. I have noticed in the web site of Rover known as “Tilly,”I think it’s owned by “P2 47” a regular contributor, with the curtain in operation. My query is can any owner point me in the right direction as to fitting and operation, especially what fittings are required, ie curtain rod holder etc.
As I have mentioned it’s not essential just for authenticity. Presume it was a standard part. Many thanks
Mike K

It is just a continuous thin string (I used grey nylon Venetian blind cord) passed through 2 small screw in chrome curtain rings above each end of the roller on the rear window header and another in the rear corner top to allow the cord to pass through an oval ferruled hold on the rear quarter panel board which takes it around the corner to the slider. Is very simple. I think later and some earlier have different simple headling arrangement that do not use the quarter panel-shaped Mill boards
