Window Mechanism

Post by Bernie Hurren » Sat Aug 18, 2012 10:29 am

Hi Everyone

I have recently purchased a P3 75 6 light and as we where towing it home a trip of around 1200 kms the drivers window mechanism broke this is the long bar and upon a closer examination it is worn out. Other people with P3's in our club aslo have patched thiers (which where not a bad as mine) but is seems a common problem here in Australia. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix them we are even thinking about fiting power windows or a front winder from a left hand drive car to try to get around it. Or does anyone have a spare they may wish to part with.

Please help because this is all that is really holding my car back and I would love to have it fixed for the Australian spring.
