The trim which goes around the door aperture in the car body is very worn on the P3 I am restoring - especially at the bottom where peoples shoes have worn it away over the last 62 years. So, it's time to renew it. I am having the door panels recovered, and the seats (in leather) - then will get the carpet redone.
So, I'm looking for someone who can supply that trim which seems to be made of a wide strip of rubber which clips onto the metal around the door aperture - and it is covered with a very nice maroon/burgundy coloured fabric.
Has anyone bought this trim recently & could tell me where is the best place to go?? I am happy to purchase in Europe & have it mailed out to me in Australia.....................
