Hi All,
Can anybody tell me what the original covering was on the rear parcel shelf, mine looks as if it is painted headlining material!
Also the trim on my car is missing forward of the front doors where the vents are, a description or a photo would be appreciated
Cheers, Trevor

Re: Rear parcel shelf
The rear shelf was covered with a thin, non-stretch Rexine type material properly called Vynide. You can get it from Woolies (item 242,p.6 of 21st edition catalogue) in a variety of colours.Today, of course, it's made from PVC.
From memory, the side kick panels framing the vents are made of thin ply, or possibly millboard, covered with carpet; the floor carpet extends right up the toeboard; the gearbox cover is carpeted, and the inside of the bulkhead behind the dash is lined with thick,rubber-backed felt. Failure to install this felt barrier will mean noise and heat coming through.
Perhaps a P3 owner with a good original can confirm, correct or supplement the above.
