p2 and p3 wheels !

One of my friend is looking for wheels for his P3 , I have spare wheels which came off a P2,
they look similiar, are they common to the models ?

They should fit, I used a P3 wheel to move my 1933 14hp Pilot which predates the car are you are talking about. Not sure if the offset will be correct though, others will know.

P2 and early P3 in the UK used 17 inch tyres. The wheel will measure 17 inches across the rim at the point where the bead of the tyre sits on the rim. From mid 1948 in the UK, the P3 switched to 16 inch tyres. Both wheels have the same offset and PCD. The the choice of wheels depends on availability of wheels and the cost of tyres.

THe only difference between P2 and P3 17" wheels is the P2 wheel has a rolled edge rim, whereas the P3 wheel has the standard modern edge.
16" P3 wheels have a different offset and the 16" fitted car has different length rear axles as well. I think 17" wheels will fit a 16" car as a temporary measure, but not the other way round.
