Air Duct for 1948 P3

I need an Air Duct (item 172 in the parts book) for my 1948 P3. Not sure what the parts book means when it says " Not needed when Pre-Heater is fitted. If anyone could advise and supply please. John

I believe that a preheater is an air duct with heating tubes in it (and water connections on it for the heater tubes). My P3 was supplied for Canada and has a preheater.
Unfortunately I don't have a source for where you can find an air duct.
