Just curious how common was the tube radio in the p3? I have yet to test mine. Are parts still available if I need something? I have a couple suitcase style tube testers but are there known other parts that go bad with age?

If you want to use the radio it's better taking it to a specialist who will remove the valve interior which by now the wires will be crusty and dangerous and have them fit digital/FM tuner to which you can have Bluetooth, MP3 etc. This will keep the original look to the exterior. I

I had an FM board and an MP3 lead fitted to my Radiomobile in the P2 (no Bluetooth or digital board back then)

I agree with 47p2 and wonder if there are steel AM stations broadcasting?
However, If that's what you want these radios can be repaired and play. Parts are available.

Thank you for that info. Might be hard here in the USA as sadly noone knows how to do anything anymore.
