The jet should be home in it's carrier, which should be home in the body of the carb. You are talking about just one jet here, is the car a 60?

The car is a 75 so has 2 jets in the carburettor - I have sent the carb off for a rebuild using new emlusion tubes (made in brass) from Gower & Lee.
Does anyone have a photograph of where the timing mark is on the bellhousing for the gearbox? There seems to be a sort of rough V - but I'm not sure that I am lining up with the correct place - any tips please? Still haven't managed to get the car running well enough to submit it for a roadworthy test...........................

I tried Gower & Lee for a pair of brass tubes a while back for another member but got nowhere, I'll maybe give them another try. I am not at home just now but I will be getting the P3 out of it's barn when I get back the weekend after next, I'll try to remember to take a photo for you.
