Phil, You're right I have edited the post accordingly, plus added a few shots that don't have my old banger in them

I felt the backbox was letting the car down especially when you see the rusty tin can in the post above, anyway I booked the car into Longlife exhausts of Berkeley just North of Bristol to have a hand made stainless steel exhaust fitted, I was to leave the car for 3 hours whilst the work was completed. The good thing about having it made to order is that you can choose the style of tail pipe and these systems don't use baffles instead they use sound deadening material so the exhaust itself is a lot freer flowing, this has the beneft of making the engine idle smoother and it als seemed to give more torque. I chose a single tailpipe for quietness and specified the largest silencers again so the exhaust was as quiet as possible, they can accomodate the boy racers but I don't fancy a headache after 10 miles on the motorway.
I had a walk around Berkeley which has a lovely castle although not open and a museum dedicated to Jenner again not open, after the 3 hours i walked back and found this lying on the floor.
The chap who had built the system then showed me the results.
Overall I am very happy with the result and should mean I don't need to worry again for a very long time if ever, total cost for the above £299 which i didn't think it was too bad.

Looks like a grand job and the price seems pretty good for a custom-built system too. Car is looking very well Richard.

Thanks Stewert, I have a few jobs to do to get it up together I did notice some rust starting from one of those photo's so that's a job treating that before it becomes a problem' I'm also going to treat the underside to some underseal at some point, I did plan on doing before the winter set in but it started early this year so i didn't get arouund to it.
