Rover 827 Coupe - She's a darling ...

Post by Freewheel » Wed Oct 08, 2008 7:52 pm

Well - my Rover800.info colleagues will need no introduction.

But since January 2006 I have been running a rather cool Rover 827 Coupe.
My wife would not allow the purchase of th 825... due to KV6 unreliability: cars i saw had the engine rebuild 1-2 times already.

It's in my favourite colour scheme of Nightfire/ Beige leather.

I have the full ownership history on the K regisered vehicle: really it needs a little more tim than I have to spend on it.
But I love it' effortless performance - did I mention it wasn't an auto...

Just had it's Mot this week: ineffective handbrake and a driver's side sill repair - that was it.
I hope to uprate it with Vitesse Sport Anti-Roll Bars and gas dampers - plus Powerflex bushes.

I will post pix when I get the hang of Photobucket or whatever.

Not a car tosuit small people I would mention: the large doors open hugely - which gives small folk a reach issue.
Glyn Thomas was in a late version the last time I saw him - Nightire / Grey; KV6.
Paul H. - '49 'Speed' 75; '55 90
