Well if they could easily be had there would not be much point - probably not much point anyway with cordless equipwent and special tools readily available.

And I worry about peoplle nicking the Vicking radiator masot on our P2 - and the jacking bungs regularly go mising of off the P5 and P5's at car rallies :o

I fear i may have to get rid of my car, for the past two days it wont start. Its the immobiliser it doesnt deactive so my car wont even try to start.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this or how much it would cost to repair as im on a budget?

Richard Moss is the one to hopefully answer this.
He usually pops in on a daily basis

What are the symptoms?

Does the engine turn over? If so, it's not the immobiliser as that disables the starter.

http://www.remotekey.co.uk" target="_blank and http://www.alarmremotes.co.uk" target="_blank have useful websites and can offer an ECU/immobilser decode service by post.

Maybe too obvious, but did you try to switch off the immobiliser already? Don't know about the 214, but the 800 and Tomcat have a rubber covered pushbutton somewhere in the engine compartment.

Just put your head in the engine compartment and look for a black pushbutton of about 2.5 to 3 cm round and push.
