I must compliment Mike Mahers? excellent precis of the new MOT exemption regs due 20 May 2018. There is so much misinformation (to put it politely) and confusion out there causing panic and dire predictions of gloom and hoards unroadworthy classics. This is clear and unambiguous and agrees with my interpretation in full. 
The only issue is whether the DVLA will match it - I look forward to seeing the new V112 form
I will take the exemption on all 7 of our classics as well
