I emailed Mike Maher about 10 days ago expressing my surprise at the Forum not being mentioned in the Dec Freewheel, particularly after all the good work Paul did in setting it up.
Lets hope it gets a push in the February issue and membership gets a boost.

Re: Stewart Devlin
What type of rally was it?
Was it for any rovers? or just the old ones?

Re: Stewart Devlin
Hi,
It is for any Rovers. I do try to encourage P3 owners especially to turn up but I think there are only two on the road, mine and Paul Gregory's and we are getting fed up handing the trophy to each other. We get everything from 1920s 8hp to the latest 75 and Land Rovers from series one to new Range Rovers, we are even happy to welcome owners who cannot bring their Rover and turn up in a modern 'other make'.

Re: Stewart Devlin
So you award a winner of each class or just the best rover that turned up?
Re: Stewart Devlin
Hi, we award a number of trophies, have a look at http://www.lakesrally.com/results" target="_blank to see who won what in 2008. First, second and third in each class also get a rosette, all entrants receive a commemorative slate coaster.
Re: Stewart Devlin
Do you get many Metro's/100's? lol
Re: Stewart Devlin
I don't think we have ever had a Metro/100, have any survived the tin worm?
