I hold the club Freewheel backnumbers for sale, for details see the inside front page of Freewheel. I have a 1925 16/50 5-seat Tourer, 1933 14 Pilot and 1949 P3 75 Saloon. In 2001 I took over running the annual Lake District rally when it looked like it might fold and somehow I seem to be still doing it.

Just experimenting with a picture of my 16/50 taken at the National Rally at Wimpole Hall in 2007, if I have figured out the procedure correctly.

Welcome, seems a bit odd welcoming someone who has been a member longer than I :D

Lovely shot of your lovely car.

I’m afraid to say I was one of the luddites who thought the yahoo list was sufficient but I now have to admit I was probably wrong. My big problem now is making sure my employers don't realise how much time this takes up!

Thanks for your kind comment on the car, the location and the weather helped to make the picture come out well.

The penny has just dropped with me, you were the gentleman who organised the lakes Rally back in september, you very kindly sent me a lovely granite coater even though I was unable to attend, i'm still a little gutted that I was unable to make it.

Yep, that's me. Sorry you didn't make it but maybe next year? I'm just waiting for confirmation from the hotel and then I'll put some details on the web. You will get an entry form in the post anyway, look forward to meeting you one day.

Stewart, Change is not easy for some, but there are afew converts, and a few names I never expected to see. Once members realise that we are here it will/should attract many more members.

I am hoping Ian E will put a notice in Freewheel giving us a bit of advertising

You could stick a link on your website too, every little helps.....

The forum does get a little slow at times, but through time it will get better. The more people use it, the busier it will get.

A bit of advertising of the new forum in Freewheel would help with numbers new and old although the Yahoo group was rarely publicised. Activity has virtually ceased on the old one again although that too was a regular feature
