Hello from Ireland

Hi all, I've just bought a 1948 P3 75 and looking forward to learning more about the car through this forum.
I'm based in Roscommon which is in the centre of Ireland and prior to this, the oldest car I have owned was a 1950 Triumph Renown.
ZV4206 was originally an English car registered KLE186 and was imported in 1993 by Eddie Frayne who bought it for his wedding car fleet. I knew Eddie many years ago but he died back in 2015 and as his family aren't car people, his two P3s have now been sold. My car would originally have been black and spent its early years around London. As KLE186, it was painted white at some point and when it came to Ireland, maroon sides were added.
The car, while driving, is in need of recommissioning and I'm busy scouring the internet for elusive parts. My intention is to return the car to black but I may retain the maroon side panels. More anon.
