Our local car club, the South of Scotland Veteran and Vintage Vehicle Club, had its Open Run today. We invite non members as well as Club Members, to take part in a run in our part of the country. Out of just over 30 entries today, three were Rovers - two P6s and my Rover 20. All went well and covered a pleasant 60 odd miles from Dumfries to Gretna Green and back over quite decent roads with some pleasant scenery. The M74/B7076 from Gretna to Moffat has to be one of the nicest motorway sections to be found and with a choice of the two roads running parallel to each other, they give a good opportunity to exercise the older car.
