National Rally 2008

Post by Richard Clements » Sun Oct 05, 2008 2:27 pm

I hope no one minds but I thought I would share my photo's from the national Rally at Lichfield, these are not my best but give a flavour of the weekend. (Mods please feel free to move elsewhere if need be 8-) )

Great pictures Richard and what a varied selection of Rover history.

How did the MG manage to sneak in

Great to see some more pictures from the National. They seem to suggest it wasn't as wet as I remember so you must have done well to get the pictures between the showers.

Nice pictures - bad weather I can just see our 3 Litre Coupe on a couple of them :(

The only P5 six that made it

Our 1938 16 was booked but it had got wet every rally it had been to this year so we thought a more suitable one for the wet weather that greeted us that morning at sunrise.

The turnout was really good though of all other Rover models as can be seen and loads more makes were to be found in the main show ground

Phil what colour is your 3litre Coupe then?

Nice pics and also one of the MG Saloons, still I suppose it does have something in common with the older style Rovers as I gather they share doors etc.

Seeing NP2045 there did he have his period caravan there? I'll have to check this out in my pics and if it is the same car I'll post it on the site. (addendum) I remember now I forgot to take any pictures, this was at the Tavistock Steam Fair way back at the beginning of June, so maybe I got the wrong Rover.
