A good time was had by all, Friday evening BBQ and evening dinner on the Saturday after local road runs, with a guest speaker from Rover's history.

hi Paul, sorry I missed this, anymore details on the road runs? What does that mean? (I'm baffled)

I like the sound of the guest speaker on Rover's history , wouldn't mind being there for that

Road runs are an opportunity to drive our cars along suggested routes to various attractions. In this case around the Cotswolds on Saturday, with many people choosing to visit the Motor Museum at Bourton on the Water. I towed the Club trailer out to Kemble and returned to the hotel before setting out. I took what I thought was a direct route, which it wasn't, but I did see the BBMF Lancaster overhead about 1:30.

After the Saturday formal dinner, the Guest Speaker, David Searle, gave an entertaining talk about his service with The Rover company. The hotel was excellent and the food at the Saturday dinner was first class.
