I have a problem with a leaking "Amil" carburetter on my 1928 Rover 10/25, despite new needle valve & testing the float Etc. This happens when the engine has been turned
off, the petrol drips from the venturi tube. (the engine is running very rich) I have come to the conclusion that the engine set at to steep an angle in the chassis !!!
Because boring out the mounting holes on a very battered Amil carb & twisting it to get it level the petrol then stops leaking.
MY thoughts are that this is the wrong crank case for this model and date and the engine mounts are not compatible.
If any one can give me any advice on this problem i will be very grateful.

Re: 1928 ROVER 10/25 ENGINE MOUNTING ANGLE
Hi Ian, I've not got a 10/25 so might be of limited help but if you can post a couple of photos of your crankcase and engine mount along with some numbers I'm sure someone will be able to help you.
