I have recently replaced these as they do not quite fit the DHC, the inner curve is incorrect. They have been on the car for some years but they are not in bad condition apart from some lacy-ness at the rear end flange which I think should be repairable. Please note they do not come with the valances or any other accessories but are still covered in the rubber. The rubber is pretty well shot but it would take me too much work to remove it so the 'post and packing' will be hefty. These are therefore free to an RSR member but you will need to pay the P&P. Located in Cornwall so not easy to pick up!
First come first served before they go on the dreaded ebay.
For reference the rust evident in one pic on the underside of the outer edge is from the valance (removed) and is on the rubber not the stepboard flange underneath

Hi Rob,
can I claim first refusal on these please. I am restoring a 1947 16 (saloon) which has no usable running boards so these if they fit, would be great. Is it possible you can measure them. My remnants measure 67inches long and 11 inches across the front wing.

Many thanks
Paul

OK Paul you are first in the queue.
I will measure the stepboards shortly & let you know. I shall also weigh them.
Do you want to give me you email- I'm not sure how this is done privately but people seem to make it happen?
Rob
