Rover 10/25 Throttle Linkage

Post by Stuart7 » Thu Jan 11, 2018 10:32 pm

Hi,
I thought a bit of info I found might be useful to some other 10/25 owners. The throttle linkage ball joints were very badly worn so I looked to find replacement parts. I found that the throttle linkage from a Landrover was a perfect replacement. The rod was a different length but it was easy to unscrew the old ones and screw on the new (same 2BA thread). Couldn't replace the balls but replacing the cups has fixed the issue.
You get 2 ball joints on a rod for less than £10.
Throttle Linkage Ref: 531440
Application: Series2A and Series 3 with 4 cylinder petrol engine.
