--INVITATION--
FACTORY VISIT plus PHOTO OF YOUR CAR OUTSIDE 1950s ADMIN BLOCK

The RSR Shrops and Staffs regional meet, have arranged for a group visit to JLR Solihull (Lode Lane) on Saturday 9th June 2018, to tour “The Range Rover Story Exhibition”. The exhibition takes you through five decades of a truly British Icon from the swinging 1960’s to the present day, plus a photo of your car outside the original factory admin block.

We will be allowed into the factory at 12:30 on the 9th June through gate D2 from Damson Lane. There will be a meeting point outside the factory where we will assemble. (To be announced later)

Whilst on site with your Rover or Land Rover, you will also get an opportunity to have a picture taken of your vehicle in front of the very famous ‘Block 1’ building, where some of the most iconic Rover Company images have been taken in years gone by.

The exhibition itself reveals, previously unseen materials and artefacts, while the Range Rover Story takes you through five decades of relentless progress. You’ll travel back in time to see the earliest sketches, engineering mules, as well as a full size Range Rover prototype clay replica. JLR Heritage will be providing tour guides for each of the small groups on the tour which last approximately 90 minutes after which, refreshments will be available that are included in this package. So sign up today, on the RSR website, https://www.thersr.co.uk/events/range-rover-tour
to avoid disappointment as spaces on the tour are limited.

The cost is £29.00 per person and this includes, the tour, refreshments, and a picture taken of your vehicle in front of Block 1, by our branch photographer.
