We have been looking for a Rover P2/3 which is up and running to use for this season and a family wedding as our P2 will not be ready until next year.
An acquaintance of ours has a 1948 Rover P3 60, 4 light, which he is thinking of selling and we are wondering what to offer for it. The body is in fair/good condition but the engine is tired and the gearbox whines in second and third gears. We could live with the gearbox for now but would need to re-condition or replace the engine before using it. Can anyone give us some idea of its value and any information about re-conditioning availability/costs, or replacement engine costs please?
Look forward to your thoughts and comments.
Andy and Denise
