Fuel Pump & Piping

Post by classicclara » Wed Jul 02, 2014 8:37 pm

Hi Rover owners

Upon inspection of our newly acquired Rover P3 1949, I have just been emailed by my mechanic "got the rover started was a wiring issue hadnt been running for years had to use external fuel source, fuel pump and pipe work dodgy"

This doesn't sound good! Anybody else had these problems, how much did it cost to fix? Does anybody have any recommendations restoration wise in general for the Rover P3.

Much appreciated!

Low pressure SU fuel pumps are available, try www.burlen.co.uk. Pipes can be made easily.
