Sadly just got info back from state records and they only go back to 1986 but no records before that point. Everything I see has me convinced it's a English car that was imported later but my trial has gone cold now.

Awesome thank you for the reply. Im pretty sure I am going to be needing to go down that road someday soon. I'm across the pond so vintage British cars and parts are rare.

Thank you so much for the reply and info. I'm working on ordering the manual for the p3 but will take a while to get to the states. I have an original p4 manual but I know they very from the p3 in a number of ways. Once I started research on the carb I was pretty sure it's not original but the 1950'...

Also found 26-30R-24 on the inner carb

Then looks like a 92 on the left and a 94 on the right. That's all I have stamped on this unit.

K4 is stamped I found another k stamped on the bottom.
